The Collection is a history of the Club and its members, expressed through the art and artifacts put together since the Club was founded in 1891. A 96 page illustrated book, was recently launched at a reception at 9 Halkin Street.
The Club Chairman, David Coughtrie acknowledged the enormous support of Lyon & Turnbull in its production. He welcomed Alasdair Nicholl Managing Director of Freemans of Philadelphia and Judith Miller of the Antiques Road Show. Who both gave critiques of a number of items in the collection including appropriately “Curling at Dudingston Lock”.
In tandem with the launch Lyon & Turnbull put on a small preview of their forthcoming Scottish Sale, which included works by Cadell and Mackintosh.
