Calendar Of Events

One of the highlights of Club membership is access to an excellent events throughout the year. It provides Members with an opportunity to entertain friends and colleagues and meet with other Members.

The Club has four capital events a year; the Burns Supper, Summer Ball, the Caledonian Lecture and St Andrew’s Day Dinner, and there are a host of other events including ceilidhs.

A major factor in the Club’s life are the Societies. Whether it’s bridge, golfing, shooting & fishing, horse racing, music and the arts, the Societies bring together Members who share common interests.

The Number 9 Society invites well-known speakers to address Members over lunch on the second Tuesday of the month. Speakers have ranged from politicians to sporting heroes and industry leaders. They are informative but relaxed; operated under the Chatham House Rule, they provide a unique insight into topics of the day.

The Younger Members Society covers the spectrum of events within the Club and even further afield as part of the Younger Members’ Inter-Club Group.
