Burns Suppers

BURNS SUPPERS

The Caledonian Club provides the perfect setting for such evenings

From early January to early February we have nearly 30 Burns Suppers taking place. Our own Burns Supper in 2010 took place on Friday 22nd January. The theme being Burns' Zig Zag tour in which he traversed the country collecting songs and poems.

The form of a Burns Supper can vary tremendously from the very serious to the more social. However there a number of core aspects that must be included, after all not only is the evening a gathering of friends often from the Scottish Diaspora but also a mark of respect to the Bard.

With so much experience in operating and arranging such functions, the Club is a natural place to start when putting your event together. As you would expect we are closely connected to many Scottish organisations and act as host to the Scottish Forum, which brings together such organisations based in London.
