University of St Andrews
Founded in the 15th century, St Andrews is Scotland’s first university and the third oldest in the English speaking world. Teaching began in the community of St Andrews in 1410 and the University was formally constituted by the issue of Papal Bull in 1413.
The University is now one of the top rated universities in Europe for research, teaching quality and student satisfaction and is consistently ranked among the UK’s top five in leading independent league tables produced by The Times, The Guardian and the Sunday Times.
The University’s 600th Anniversary Campaign is now underway, launched by HRH Prince William of Wales, aiming to raise £100 million to invest in people and ideas; ensuring that the brightest students come to St Andrews, regardless of background, to be taught be the best teachers.

 

Corrymella Scott Gallery
Established in 1987, Corrymella Scott Gallery has held exhibitions of major Scottish artists including The Scottish Colourists; Elizabeth Blackadder; Gordon Bryce; Victoria Crowe, GeorgeDevlin, Pat Douthwaite;John Houston; Jolomo (John Lowrie Morrison); Jack Morrocco; Jack Vettriano and Jake Harvey (sculpture).

The Gallery represents John Lowrie Morrison (Jolomo) and has organised all his solo Londonexhibitions, including 2005,opened by HRH ThePrincess Royal.

The Gallery mountedthe artist's first international solo exhibition at The Mont Blanc Gallery, HongKong in 2001, opened byThe British Consul,Sir James Hodge.

Graham Stewart, Silversmith

Graham Stewart is a designer, gold and silversmith who has been running his workshop and gallery in Dunblane, since 1978. Working along with a small team of skilled and long-established craftsmen, he produces innovative sculptural pieces of silver from high-profile commemorative presentation pieces, to fine quality functional silver. The silver is produced using traditional techniques. Graham specialises in fine hand-cut engraving and also designs and makes a small range of fine jewellery.
