The Caledonian Club Collection
The Club is blessed with an excellent array of Art & Artefacts, over the past year a tremendous amount of work has gone into compiling a book on the Club’s artwork, which has brought out a great deal of the history and its Members from its original location in St James to the move to Halkin Street in 1946. Most Members will be aware of the First World War Memorial on the staircase, which survived the bombing of the St James’s premises and will be more prominent in our minds during this year as 100 Year Anniversary becomes more prevalent. The Caledonian Club Collection, as illustrated guide to the Club through its artwork, will be launched on Wednesday 19 February with a Reception in the Club at 6 pm.

Luis joined the Club in 2003, initially working in the kitchen brigade before becoming a trainee manager in 2004. And he took up the role of Dining Room Manager in 2008. He has developed a great rapport with the Members and will be missed by them and staff alike.
